With a strong background in high-performance waterproof products, Mac in a Sac was born out of a desire to condense a high-performance jacket into a packable form.
The Challenge
Having had previous success with the very first adventure day, it was now time to dial it up a notch. Our brief was to create an event that:
- Continued to increase brand awareness with an authentic audience.
- Built on the success of the previous adventure day.
- Increased following across key social channels.
- Worked with new influencers who had the potential to become longer-term brand ambassadors.
- Gave participants the opportunity to experience the latest product range.
- Provided consumers with an experience of a lifetime!
The Result
Given the success of our previous event, we decided to once again run a winner and influencer recruitment campaign via Instagram with the aim to obtain competition entries to attend Mac in a Sac Adventure Day 2.0.
With the request from Mac in a Sac to devise an event that centred around their ‘Get Lost Outdoors’ mantra, our competition winners and influencers were first kitted out in the latest Mac in a Sac kit, before heading off into Snowdonia for an action-packed day, which included a social media inspired treasure hunt, as well as a vertical kilometre, abseiling and fun team games throughout.
To further enhance the overall event experience, we offered a second competition centred around capturing authentic UGC, as well as working with a number of brand partners, who provided product in kind to each participant.
