When not on the pitches, racetracks, oceans or roads, they are helping to write sporting history and break world records. Internally; sport, health and fitness extend much deeper into the culture of the INEOS team globally. It’s instilled right from the top all the way through to new graduates.

The Challenge

INEOS challenged Brandwave to design, develop and create their new INEOS Energy Station website.

Introduced in 2017, INEOS Energy Station is an internal hub to promote health and wellbeing globally to each one of their 22,000 employees. By bringing together all fitness initiatives alongside expert advice, it’s a motivating platform to inspire everyone at INEOS to lead a fitter, healthier and more active life.

The Result

Taking on board INEOS’ vision to grow INEOS Energy Station internally, WordPress was selected as the best CMS solution.

This enabled us to build a website that is more automated, works smarter, and is easier for the team to manage on a daily basis meaning they are now less reliant on external support.

To further facilitate wellbeing internally at INEOS, employees are able to view timetables, book onto fitness classes, receive expert advice and participate in fun challenges all via the INEOS Energy Station.

Launched earlier this year, the new Energy Station went live in time to host the 2020 edition of the much-anticipated INEOS Tour de France Challenge.

“INEOS Energy Station was created 4 years ago as an online health and fitness hub for our network of colleagues based at INEOS sites around the world. Over the years the hub grew and attracted over 8,000 users – and with this growth INEOS decided to evolve the brand through a new online platform. Brandwave were hands-on and actively engaged  in bringing this new platform to life. Our employees find the new platform to be interactive, cool looking, easy to use – and one which they want to join to be kept up-to-date on fitness classes, news and fun challenges! The new platform has allowed us to engage further with our employees and connect them around the world. We thoroughly enjoy working alongside Brandwave, and we look forward to elevating our platform even further over the coming months.
