At ISPO this year, we were lucky enough to see the latest and greatest in sports technology and innovation. Highlights included performance wear, such as ODLO’s ACTIVE SPINE base layer and the development of new categories such as the Land Rover Explore Outdoor Phone.
Industry Insight’s
This key trade event typically for all things outdoors has seen an interesting change over the past few years, with an increase in fitness brands exhibiting at the show. We’ve seen a market shift as fitness and outdoor has started to cross-pollinate. There’s an increasing consumer need for apparel that goes from work to gym to outdoor and vice versa. We decided to ask marketing directors and brand managers at the show about how they felt the fitness would impact the outdoor sector in 2018. Here’s what we learnt.
This year was extra special for Brandwave as we partnered with the OIA on their ski day prior to the show. We had the opportunity to hit the slopes with our clients and colleagues as well as network at the Brandwave sponsored aprés ski in Garmisch.
You can catch some of our favourite moments from the show in our ISPO 2018 round up.
