The Brandwave Brand Test: Stance Fusion Snow

This year we will be trying out and reviewing products from across the world of sports, outdoor, nutrition and many others. This week, Account Director Ollie reviews the Stance Fusion Snow sock line after a recent trip to the French Alps.

Prior to heading over to Val d’Isere last week, I popped next door to our UK offices to see the Stance guys and grab some of the FW16 Stance Fusion Snow line. I ended up picking up pairs of the Legend Mikey Leblanc, Granite Chief, Raven and Ellis.

Looking at the sub-zero temperatures forecast, must admit I had some reservations whether the thinner profile of these, especially the Ravens, would be warm enough. Any doubt was quickly diminished on the mountain, an average temp of -20c with a wind chill of -40c was no problem and my feet stayed toasty all day. A thinner profile also meant slipping into my super snug fitting Salomon Ghost Max 130’s was an absolute breeze and the feel was way more direct through the boot to the ski’s.

Thanks to the bundle of tech Stance manage to squeeze into these, the Fusion Snow line delivers the warmth you need, the wicking when things do get a little hotter and a supportive, anti bunched up fit that delivers comfort from first lift right through to après.

Now the snow has finally landed here in Europe, if you’re heading out to the mountains, would definitely recommend checking them out and giving your feet a little treat – www.stance.com/snow
