José, or Zé as he is better known in the office, was born in Vitória, a city on the South Eastern coast of Brazil.
A super talented designer with a creative outlook, Zé studied in Germany and gained a masters of arts degree in Integrated Design, specialising on the differences between Brazilian and German design. His talent has not gone unnoticed and his work has been recognised by; the Society for News Design, Luerzer’s Archive, and The Association of Brazilian Graphic Designers (ADG).
Zé comes from a sporting background, a volleyball and football player (he lives up to typical Brazilian stereotypes of sport). His grandfather was also a football player, having played for Cruzeiro E.C. (one of the most traditional football clubs in Brazil) he also worked for the club his whole life. This footballing influence from an early age has made Zé a serious football fanatic, its one of his greatest passions in life.
Zé lived in Bremen for 4 years, where he learned German, received his master’s degree, and suffered with the 1-7 against Germany in 2014 in the World Cup (best not to ever bring this up!). He then moved to Hamburg and since to Munich to become a pivotal member of the team at Brandwave Germany.
